lang=EN-GB>As part of the 200th Anniversary of Church Schools Celebration, a
special day conference is being organised in <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:City
w:st="on">London</st1:City></st1:place> on Thursday Oc<st1:PersonName
w:st="on">to</st1:PersonName>ber 20th. The Conference is being called the
‘Watson Symposium’, in memory of the founder of our movement, and will be a
chance <st1:PersonName w:st="on">to</st1:PersonName> engage with a number of
leading thinkers and writers in the of Church Schools field.

<P class=MsoNormal><SPAN lang=EN-GB><o:p> </o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoNormal><FONT size=2 face=Arial><SPAN style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt"
lang=EN-GB>The organisers have elicited widespread academic support for the
Watson Symposium and keynote speakers are Professor Andrew Wright and
Professor Julian Stern. They have commissioned 16 writers whose papers will be
presented. It will therefore be possible <st1:PersonName
w:st="on">to</st1:PersonName> choose from a number of discussion subjects in
addition <st1:PersonName w:st="on">to</st1:PersonName> the plenary
programme.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></FONT></P>
